The word "lyrical images" for wood meets paper are true, but the pieces represent so much more than that. I have never seen anything like them. You two really stretched the limits of what is possible for both mediums. It seems to me like it took a leap of faith to create them and then something wonderful DID happen. They communicate fun, weightlessness, and humor. But I'm sure what you did was a very daring undertaking, that took a lot of work.
